We are pleased to announce the breeding of DC AFC A Touch of Bourbon With Diamonds (Trace) to our NGDCH AmFC GFC DC GCH Turning Points Shenanigans (Shandi). Puppies are anticipated mid-February 2020.
Trace is a delightful companion with a “never quit” attitude. He has a very high prey drive and tremendous style on birds. Recently Trace was handled by his owner, Rick Hastings to Runner Up National Champion at the 2019 American Brittany Club’s National Gun Dog Championship. Trace has also been handled professionally by Scott Johnson. Trace was professionally handled to his show championship by Rose Leale.
Shandi has her own page HERE on our Turning Point Brittanys website. Shandi is an impressive young lady in a small package. She finished her show championship at only 10 months old and with very limited showing after that easily completed her Grand Championship. In the field, Shandi takes quickly to the front while searching the woods on her way. She is very fast and snappy with high head and tail on her birds. Her intensity is remarkable. She is very biddable demonstrating a strong desire to go with you. Shandi won the inaugural ABC All Age Derby Invitational in 2016 at just over one year old. She won the ABC All Age Eastern Futurity in 2016. In the Spring of 2019 she won the Michigan Brittany All Age Championship with 8 stylish finds, and this was a mere 4 months after whelping her first litter of puppies.
At the 2019 ABC Amateur All Age Championship she handled well and was awarded runner up. Less then one week later she was expertly handled by Bob Burchett to her greatest achievement yet! In a competitive field of 47 dogs, Shandi was awarded National Gun Dog Champion. In combination with winning her Dual Champion Class at the National Brittany Specialty Show, her field placements earned Shandi the 2019 W. E. Stephenson Sr. Memorial National Dual Dog Award.
If you would like to check out Shandi’s information, feel free to further explore our website.. We are accepting reservations at this time for this litter but will limit pre-whelp reservations to 6.
